Smart Development News 2/2023

Dear subscriber,

You may already have gained initial experience with agile working methods or have already completed an agile pilot project in your company, perhaps you are even in the process of scaling up and are working with several agile teams? Today we would like to take you into the top class and show you how the agile transformation of a product development organisation can proceed by means of a project report.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution for this step or transformation of an organisation, but we have gathered extensive experience as consultants in agile customer projects or previously as executives in globally active corporations in order to walk this path with you. And to ensure that your teams reliably deliver good results right from the start, an important step is to establish clearly defined rules for working together. With a working agreement you create the necessary clarity and have a "real" efficiency driver.

Even as experienced consultants, we regularly expand our competences, for example through external training. To realise extensive, complex development projects, you need many teams. In order to fully exploit the advantages of agility and to manage the higher interdependencies of these teams, various agile scaling frameworks are used. Three of our experienced SAFe Program Consultants (SPC) have now also become certified as Release Train Engineers (RTE). We can now help your organisation to even better set up high-performance agile release trains.

Last but not least, we would like to show you another decisive success factor for your company using the example of a consulting project: An efficient project portfolio management. You evaluate your project portfolio using transparent criteria and thus create the basis for sustainable decisions. At the same time, you ensure that your organisation is not overburdened by too many parallel projects and thus increase your success.

We wish you inspiring reading and successful impulses for your future product development.

With best regards
Yours, Dirk Meißner
