The company
Our customer develops, produces and markets intelligent solutions in the off-highway sector and has development sites in 7 countries.
The challenge
The company wanted to demonstrably increase its development efficiency and aimed to develop more products simultaneously and on time.
The approach
We conducted two Smart Development Assessments for our client to identify improvements, which were implemented over a period of seven years. The first assessment took four weeks, followed by three years of implementation support. The second assessment took six weeks, followed by two years of implementation support.
In a comprehensive Smart Development Assessment, the degree of implementation of the practices was determined, potential areas for improvement were identified, and an improvement programme was adopted. The implementation of the improvement programme, which we supported, included:
